Originally this museum was a farm house he earlier parts of the building date from the 15th century, Horseshoe Cottage and Forge Cottage date from the 6th century. The museum is filled with blacksmith's tools. It's being said the how the crafts of blacksmithing and farriery have developed over the years, as well as a smaller exhibition about local village life.

There is lot to see in stevenage museum right from Vincent motorbike to a Roman coin hoard. even the locals can find their own house, the local pub or their school in old photographs of the town. The Museum has films covering Stevenage from Roman times right up to the New Town and recordings of memories of Stevenage in days gone by.

This museum is all about everyday life in roman britian displaying the activities such as recreated Roman rooms, hands-on Discovery Areas, excavation video touch screen databases, accessible collections, "Touch the Past" sessions for schools, some of the best Roman mosaics and wall plasterss outside the Mediterranean.

Well the only one will exitment when in hertfordshire is Paradise Wildlife Park. Getting close to the wildlife zebera, lion, tiger and taking some amazing pictures... Well night life in hertfordshire is preety good for a good meal and a bit of pubing... a movie perhaps and listen to a good music.. although one can find many places to get slotched and have fun in there own way... I myself am not a drinker... may be occasionally but not to the core... spending time with the loved
one's(family and girlfriend/wife). I would suggest herdfordshire. trust me you will have plenty of time to spend with her/them.

ITALY

Well this time my visit was to Italy.... when thinking of Italy the first thing that comes in the mind is the Leaning Tower of Pisa… They say that Italy is famous for pizza. Sure would love to try some... we try to visit all the possible attractions in Italy. And hopefully we did... I guess... At first we went to see the “coliseum" it was a bit crowed but it was fun. The gladiators took pictures with us for free B.C we used our camera. They actually posed for 4 pictures with us. The horse and carriage people will try to rip you off, but you can avoid them.

Although it did take time to move around but it was worth it... we had a lods of fun. After that we did visit the leaning tower of Pisa they say it is the bell tower which is famous because it began to lean to one side and sink into the ground. It is also famous because of its decorations, and finally it is famous because the famous scientist Galileo conducted his physics experiment the "free fall". People can climb up to the tower at night times only on special dates....

After checking out the tower we took a break and had some pizza... as they say pizza in Italy is amazing... soft, crunchy, and yummy... although I couldn’t have had more than 2... Loll... but it was absolutely amazing.... it was the best that I ever had.

They say St. Peters Basilica is the greatest among all the churches. It is probley the biggest church that I have ever seen, it is about 5.7 acres and has a capacity over 60,000 people. Although we didn’t stay here for a long time, but we managed to get a good look at the church and got some really good pictures. After that we got a good look at the St. Peters square. Its an amazing view of the square... with so much to look at and so little time.

Parthenon we took some time off to go and take a look at the Greek goddess Athena that is the temple of Parthenon. Parthenon replaced an older temple of Athena, called the Pre-Parthenon or Older Parthenon that was destroyed in the Persian invasion of 480 BC. It is a good thing to know the history of Italy. All the monuments and statues... Were well preserved and the view is outstanding.... We managed to take a look at some to the museums on the way back home.

The Sistine Chapel's museum famous for ceiling painted by Michelangelo looms above the frescoes on the side walls that were painted by an illustrious team of artists that included Botticelli, Ghirlandaio, Roselli, Pinturicchio, Signorelli and Della Gatta. The altar wall is covered by Michelangelo's Last Supper, revealing the figure of Christ hovering above center and flanked by Mary and other saintly figures. They say that Vatican Museums provide an inspiring visit to one of the world's greatest collections of art. The galleries stretch over four miles and include the magnificent Raphael rooms, the Etruscan Museum and the Pio-Clementino Museum, which boasts the world's largest collection of Classical statues.

Uffizi museum evolved into a display place for many of the paintings and sculpture collected by the Medici family or commissioned by them. The gallery had been open to visitors by request since the sixteenth century, and in 1765 it was officially opened to the public.

Well this was my trip to Italy... although I didn’t have much time to take a look at things closer... but i would like to come back some time and explorer even better.
I have booked my hotel from Italian hotels

A Trip to Newzealand

This time my visit was to the country of New Zealand. I have dragged my brother and some of my cousin’s with me to this trip at first no one was ready later when they heard the name bay of island they packed up there things faster than me... lol... Well they say that New Zealand is called the cleanest country.... they are absolutely true. I always wanted to visit some islands in New Zealand so I taught why not now.... so I have planned to go to "Bay of Islands" its an amazing place to be... the beach and the sound of the waves.... it was like I was in a different world.... many fear from well so do I... but hey... trying everything is fun... so I gave it a shot of trying skydiving 4000 ft above in the air... droping down at nearly 200km/s its one amazing feeling... and then dropping slowly with the help of the parachute and finally gliding over water and landing.... it's AWSM!!!!...

Hot air balloons... they are indeed one amazing things.... getting up in the air slowly and getting an outstanding view of the ground is one outstanding things... that any one have to see it to feel it and that too if it is over a sea this will be even exiting getting the spectacular view of the land and sea with the sun rays falling on the surface of the water it simply superb.... spending time in hot air balloons is amazing..... After all this excitement had to take a break.... a nice hot bath and enjoyed a delicious meal... near the shore... with the friends and family.

we did get to see some of the seals.... they were amazing... altho a bit funny rolling in the sand... and making all funny noises... but we did have some great time with them.

After all that the next day morning we all went for a boat ride in Taupo the ride was for about half hour... but it was one thrilling experience... going around 50-60km per hour... the twits and turns of the River (Waikato River) it was one amazing feeling... well this wasn’t enough we all went for a Bungy Jumping in Queenstown on the River Kawarau.

Well after getting exited enough take a couple of hours of break and having a nice meal then all of us went for a swim with the dolphins in Akaroa harbor, Well from what I heard that this is the only place where the visitors are allowed to swim with the dolphins. Well playing with the dolphins was fun but, now tasting the wine in Marlborough was there... The sweet taste of Newzealand wine....

Although the Trip was for a couple of weeks... we enjoyed every single moment… Our stay at Auckland city hotel, Pretty good being a 2 start hotel it provide ensuits as in hotels restaurants exotic continental food, and a bit tobby though it was to my cousin’s... Perhaps was our best ever and Memorable one.

A Week in Norway

Norway... I never would have taught that i would be visiting this place... I had my own plans to go some other place near Newzealand... This was planned by my cousins and my bro... They all wanted to spend some nice quality time so they dragged me along with them.... Although I didn’t wanted to go... when we all reached there and seen the beautiful views I did changed my mind.

Cross country skiing... is the best attraction here in Norway… And trust me it is one feeling any one would like to have.... skiing from top of the mountain... Skiing in Rondane and in Venabu... After playing in the snow was finished... we left to fjords... the breathtaking views of fjords is simply mind blowing... Glacial melting is also accompanied by a rebound in the earth's crust as the ice load is removed. well all had fun playing in the lake Loenvatnet in stryn. It’s a fresh water lake... so there was no need to worry that any one getting ill.

After that we all went for Kayaking in the Geirangerfjord. It takes a lot of muscle power to pull that kayak. Just few inches from the water it’s an amazing experience. When finished with the kayaking all went for a scuba diving in Lake

Lygnstøylsvatnet when I was there swimming underwater.... it was like I was in a different world. It’s an amazing view when you come close to a fish, crab, or any other animal it's one experience that any one has to do it to feel it.

And now its time for hiking... although they didn’t allow us to go up to much extent but yes we did go pretty far... it was the time of winter... although we didn’t get see the polar bear but we got to see the Musk ox, reindeer and grouse.

The Origin of Salsa (Spain)

Buen día amigos ... (That means good day friends) Well this time my visit was to the country Spain... while I was there I learned few words...
There is a saying that when in Rome do the Romans... well i just did that in Spain... when speaking of Spain the first thing that comes in mind is the "salsa" and then the bullfighting... I have put on the costume of a bullfighter(Matador)... and had some fun. Although I didn’t get in front of the bull, but fun yes... mostly... As i have said befor when in Rome do the Romans that doesn’t mean am asking people to dress up like Romans when they are in Rome. Think and act according to the environment thats all.

There is a famous yet funny festival in Spain... that’s (La Tomatina¨ - Valencia Tomato Fight Festival) its the tomato’s festival... people hit each other with tomatoes crazy but funny... A march to the deafening sounds of drums, as groups of drummer’s parade through the city on the night of the first day of the year. The next morning, the "Tamborrada Infantil" (Child Drummer's Ceremony) is celebrated. Bull Running festival in Spain even this is famous. Every year from July 7th-14th many pack into the Pamplona the see the famous bull running festival. The thing is to run alone with the bulls and get as close as possible... judging by the size of the bulls and the speed which they run, I would defiantly don’t whanna stay in there way... it takes guts and courage to run along them... the festival goes on for about 7 days. Although there are other festivals, but these are considered to be the best of them all.

Alhambra in Granad this is a mootish fortified palace and it is huge in size and it occupies most of the portion of the city centre... it took me an entire day to explore it... my advice is that if anyone is going to visit this place take a day off... and then visit and if your going to visit in summer take a ticket in advance coz there will be a lot of crowed...

Guggenheim Museum Bilbao is an art museum. The building itself is an astonishing mixture of interconnecting shapes. Orthogonal blocks in limestone contrast with curved and bent forms covered in titanium. Glass curtain walls provide the building with the light and transparency it needs. The glass walls were made and installed to protect the works of art from heat and radiation. The half-millimeter thick "fish-scale" titanium panels covering most of the building are guaranteed to last one hundred years. As a whole, Gehry's design creates a impressive, eminently visible structure that has the presence of a huge sculpture set against the backdrop of the city. Although there are several museums i could only get to visit only few... in which some of them are The Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, Reina Sofia National Art Center Museum, Goya's Tomb, Picasso Museum.

Ronda is a city in the Spanish province of Andalusia 750m above sea level. They say that ronda is the birth place for the bullfighters and some of the audience dress in the manner of Goya'sketches of life in the region.

And also there is salsa dance... It is what spain is famous for... the dance and the spicy food... well i couldn't dance salsa... but yes.. sure would like to try in the future.

There are many cuisines in Spain but mostly the locals prefer the cuisine "Tapas" its a mixture of olives and cheese, and of course there is salsa... mamameya!!!!.....

Well this was my visit to the country Spain. I have made reservation from

Spain

Land of Chocolates and Cheese

This time my visit was to the Switzerland. Well Switzerland is a small in size but, it has got some pretty good attractions lets say "Region Saas-Fee" its an amazing view from the top at an altitude of (5906 ft). The breathing taking views of the mountains are simply amazing one has to see to have such experience.

Switzerland is most famous for Alpine (Mountains) scenery. The mountains covered with snow the rays of sun falling on the snow and the breath taking view of the mountains are simply outstanding. The highest mountains in Switzerland are the Dufourspitze, which is 15,203 feet high, the Dom, which is 14,913 feet high and the Matterhorn, which rises to an altitude of 14,691 feet.
The combination of mountains, clear air and beautiful scenery make the Swiss Alps a unforgettable sight. Switzerland is a mixture of few cultures say (France, Italy and Germany). There are few festivals which the locals celebrate like Locarno Film festival, Monteux Jazz Festival; well the most important festival is the Christmas.
I couldn’t get to see all the castles, well I managed to take a look at few of them (New Castellum, Castle in Eglet, Castle in Gruier, Tourbillon Castle, Chillion Castle). New castle was built in 15th Century and Eglet castle was built in 13th Century and castle in Gruier was in 11th Century and Tourbillon was in 15th century and the final one that is Chillion castle was in 13th century... It took me quite a long time to check all the castles, but it is worth it.

One can say Switzerland is the country of chocolates, cheese, and many more... well i have eaten a lot of those chocolates and take few back home. The consumption of chocolate is through out the year but the peak season is the Autumn and from here the productions of chocolates is on top of the scale... when i had enough with the chocolates I went to the Alpine region where they make cheese traditional there are more than 400 verities of chesses. I get to taste few of the cheese. These hand made cheeses are shaped into flat round shapes and left to mature.

For Hikers I would recommend Stanserhorn the picturesque scenery, fresh air of alpine peaks and rare mountain flowers are delightful and provide a relaxing effect.

Well this was my trip to the amazing land of chocolate and cheese.
I have booked my room closer to the airports, so that there wouldn’t be any problem.

My Trip to Paris

This time am going to the world of fashion. "PARIS".
Although my visit was for a couple of days, Well I made it worth a while...
The attractions in Paris huhh...

There is of course Eiffel tower which is the best attractions in Paris they say that it is about "1,063 ft” tall and the height of the roof is "986 ft" tall... There are many levels in Eiffel tower well up to 4 levels it is absolutely free... after that they charge it is 60fr to go till top… It’s an amazing view of the city from the top of Eiffel tower. Since there is no other building nearby to obstruct the view... the maximum distance that a person can see is 59 kilometers and the view is amazing trust me... and next was the Notre Dame

Notre Dame is always been the religious center of the city. Well the building is spectacular with lots of rose windows. The building is about 128m long with two 69 meter tall towers (420 x 226 ft). Its may not be the highest place when compared to Eiffel tower but can take a great view of the river Seine.

There are lodes of art museums among them the most famous museum is the Louvre Museum. It’s a mixture of modern art and art. As Paris is the city of fashion. Shopping here is damn!! Expensive unless any one knows were to go and spend you can't shop. Well I bought some designer clothing...too and was not as expensive as I taught it would be... Shopping in Paris is fun.

When night falls I have taken a sneak peak at Moulin Rouge. Moulin Rouge is probably the most famous cabaret in the world. Although it is a bit expensive say (140-170 EUR).One of the best vantage points in Paris is at the summit of the Parc de Belleville. It’s well worth the climb… and, fancy that, there’s a bar at the top of the hill.

France is well-known for its Wine and cheese... and there are many kinds of wines and they are Red wine, Port wine.... and many more... half of them I didn’t even hear the names. And coming up to cheese they say there are about 400 different types of French cheeses.

Well this was my trip to Paris. LA FIN(The end) lolls. I will try visiting Paris some other time and stay atleast for a Week or so..

I have booked my room in
Hotel Relais du Louvre - Paris
19 Rue des Prètres Saint Germain l'Auxerrois - 75001 Paris From http://en.venere.com/hotels_Paris/1er_arrondissement/hotel_relais_du_louvre.html?ref=736905&fe1
