My Trip to Paris

This time am going to the world of fashion. "PARIS".
Although my visit was for a couple of days, Well I made it worth a while...
The attractions in Paris huhh...

There is of course Eiffel tower which is the best attractions in Paris they say that it is about "1,063 ft” tall and the height of the roof is "986 ft" tall... There are many levels in Eiffel tower well up to 4 levels it is absolutely free... after that they charge it is 60fr to go till top… It’s an amazing view of the city from the top of Eiffel tower. Since there is no other building nearby to obstruct the view... the maximum distance that a person can see is 59 kilometers and the view is amazing trust me... and next was the Notre Dame

Notre Dame is always been the religious center of the city. Well the building is spectacular with lots of rose windows. The building is about 128m long with two 69 meter tall towers (420 x 226 ft). Its may not be the highest place when compared to Eiffel tower but can take a great view of the river Seine.

There are lodes of art museums among them the most famous museum is the Louvre Museum. It’s a mixture of modern art and art. As Paris is the city of fashion. Shopping here is damn!! Expensive unless any one knows were to go and spend you can't shop. Well I bought some designer clothing...too and was not as expensive as I taught it would be... Shopping in Paris is fun.

When night falls I have taken a sneak peak at Moulin Rouge. Moulin Rouge is probably the most famous cabaret in the world. Although it is a bit expensive say (140-170 EUR).One of the best vantage points in Paris is at the summit of the Parc de Belleville. It’s well worth the climb… and, fancy that, there’s a bar at the top of the hill.

France is well-known for its Wine and cheese... and there are many kinds of wines and they are Red wine, Port wine.... and many more... half of them I didn’t even hear the names. And coming up to cheese they say there are about 400 different types of French cheeses.

Well this was my trip to Paris. LA FIN(The end) lolls. I will try visiting Paris some other time and stay atleast for a Week or so..

I have booked my room in
Hotel Relais du Louvre - Paris

Amsterdam

Lately I was wondering were to go next. Couple of my friends and cousins planed a trip to Amsterdam and I must say that the city pretty good. We planed our trip for about a week.
Although Amsterdam dose not accept other currency's apart from Euro's and if your lucky people take credit cards... Although it may charge u a bit more (2-6%). Albert Cuyp market is one of the markets where every item is at its cheapest price although it gets a bit crowded at weekends. I must say Amsterdam has got many museums; it’s got ever 37 museums. I did take some time off and had a look at some of the museums. (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Museum Amstelkring etc...)

Anne Frank House (Anne Franchise) is one the famous attractions there. It’s about Anne Frank, her family and four other Jewish people hid from the occupying Germans during WWII. Nazis caught them and took her to concentration camps where she died but her father survived and publish her diary... although it is a bit tragic story but interesting one.

Amsterdam Canal rings are best for taking an evening walk. Well I prefer taking a boat and have a ride. The ride was pretty good taking look at the city from the water; I say it’s worth a shot.
Margere Brug is an old draw bridge, which opens every 20mins. When night falls lights illuminate the bridge, then it becomes a very romantic place, popular with lovers. Trust me this is one place to be with Some one you love.

Shopping, Amsterdam is the city for antiques, books, diamonds etc... If any one is an antique pieces collector then this is the place to be there are Over 70 antique shops and art galleries in one single street. African Art, old clocks, pewter, instruments and furniture and many more just taking a look around u also might some thing to take back home. Well I took an old clock back home.

ArtisZoo is probably the oldest Zoo in entire Holland. It has four main areas: Zoo, Planetarium, Botanical Gardens and Geological and Zoological museum. In the zoo you will find animals which are rare and unique from all over the world. In addition, a unique canal aquarium shows you which animals roam the canals of Amsterdam.

Well this was my trip to Amsterdam… although it was for few days like to visit this place again… sometime soon. I stayed in a hotel,
Hotel Gerstekorrel
Damstraat 22-24, Amsterdam, 1012 JM

And I suggest you this site from which my booking was easy and affordable..

The City of Athens

This time my visit was to the city of Athens. Every one knows that the Athens is the capital and the largest city in Greece and the birth place of Socrates, Pericles, and Sophocles. It is said that Athens was the host city for hosting the first modern-day Olympic Games.

Well my first visit was to the Acropolis Honestly saying the view from Acropolis was simply Amazing. The only way to go there is by foot, i would suggest a good pair of walking shoes for any one going there. It is said that they used to worship the goddess "Athena" and there are three more temples build there "Parthenon, the Erechtheion, and the Temple of Nike".

A trip to National Archaeological Museum is worth a while. For museum junky they would never want come out of there. To get into the museum you need to pay 7 Euros. Try not to miss these.... The Museum's statue of a smiling Aphrodite preparing to slap a satyr with her sandal; the huge, enigmatically-smiling kouros statues, male Mona Lisa’s of their time; the clean clear lines of early Cycladic artifacts; the large, rich gold masks and ornaments from Mycenae.

Athens is a modern city apart from many multiplexes it also plays a variety of romantic, open air garden cinemas. The open air cinemas are pretty Awsm.

Kolonaki area which is at the base of Lycabettus hill the street is filled with boutiques, restaurants and also has galleries and museums. I myself brought some clothing... like people used to ware at those timings hehehehe.... Monastiraki Flea Market well I took some time off to check this place out. You can say that it is a huge open super market. I happen to visit this Flea market on a Sunday and I got to know that this is the best day. There are many small shops selling almost anything in couple of shops i have seen actual machine guns left over from Nazi occupation, but trust me they look more like a garden tools rather than guns. There are lots of stuff to check out here worry beads, furs, backgammon sets, toy soldiers, ancient Greek bottle openers and cigarette lighters, Byzantine Icons, paintings, statues, postcards, high fashion such as T-shirts, handbags with pictures of the Parthenon and so on... the list is very huge.... i my self bough a couple of lighters.... and they are damn good.

Taking a 20 min drive from downtown is one of the famous beaches "Glyfada" and a few miles more there is another beach called "Voula Beach". The beaches are amazing here the sands the waves and an amazing view of the sea are worth seeing. There are lots of water sports going on (ex:-surfing etc...) I tried to surf, but dint get the hang of it.

And after i have played with water for a while I visited “Lykavittos Hill” This is the highest place in Athens and it’s an amazing view over the entire city and can also see the landmarks like "Acropolis and Olympic stadium. I prefer to walk/hike the entire journey took me an hour to climb although it’s easy at the beginning of the hike; it is not so as easy as it goes on... but it is worth everything.

This was my trip to the city of Athens. The hotel were i stayed was "The Earl Percy Hotel" with a cheap accommodation.

The reason i was able to visit these many places was because the booking was done smoothly.

All thanks to Allhoteldeals

my trip was, lets say pretty interesting.

My Trip to Manchester

This time my visit was to City of Manchester. This lies in the centre of the wider Greater Manchester Urban Area. Manchester is unique place for fashion, on the weekend, I got my self a pair of football shoes from the Saturday’s Tib Street fashion market and they are pretty good, and then I got relaxed at the long lunch (Restaurant) and had a nice cocktail in Harvey Nichol's brasserie.

For shoppers I recommend to go Manchester markets where you get the best bargains (If you’re planning a trip to Manchester). Manchester is one amazing place for knick-knacks and collectables. I got few of my things form the city's arts centre. Trust me the time will just pass away just like that. Getting all u needed for your home you will not find time to see all the things so make some free time for shopping.

The night life of Manchester is an amazing.... The world famous nightclub Hacienda is here and there are many more places in Manchester to check out the night life... here there are many different kinds of recepies in food.. Few of them I didn’t hear or saw them. But they sure taste good. Try them if u can get some time.

But mostly Manchester is the city for football freaks... many of the sporting clubs are here. I got to check out the Old Trafford of the city of Manchester stadium. The Commonwealth games (2002) are the best example for the football fans.... and also there are other sports to check out.., but I am a football fan... There are two main clubs in Manchester one is the "Manchester" and "Manchester united".

After the sports fever is calm downed. I went to check out the country side of Manchester which has some spectacular views of woods, Lake District. Which is preety good for exploring the northern side countryside...

Well this was my tripe to the city of Manchester.
I got to stay in the 3start hotel named The Waverley Hotel. Here they provide Best accommodation.

The trip has been grateful and pretty sporty too….lol
All thanks to www.allhoteldeals.net which provided me with great accommodation and cheap discounts in Manchester.

My experience in Victoria.

My name is David, I am basically a traveler. I have being traveling for a couple of years. My recent visit was to Victoria. Which is in British Columbia, in Canada Victoria is an amazing place for out door activates and an amazing place for romantic getaway.

There is a lot of thing to do in Victoria. I have done hiking, golfing, boating, fishing, and many other things it is one amazing place for outdoor activities. After doing all this I have visited the country side where, I saddled up! For one amazing horseback riding through farm lands, rainforests and sandy beaches. Here I got to view the panoramic views of valleys, mountains and ocean vistas.

For shopping Victoria is one of the places to be visited.... here you can get all most anything... gift shops, shopping malls, markets... and many more. There are some secrete shops in Victoria just four blocks along Government Street, turn right into Trounce Alley, one of Victoria's best-kept secrets shops will be there. It is also famous for hand made chocolates... which dose taste damn good.

If this is not enough i get to view Victoria from an Bird's eye view from 30,000 feet high in the air. Flying off the water from sea to sky in an exhilarating experience never to be forgotten. For bird watchers I would recommend Victoria. There are more than 380 different species of birds, where I got to get the spectacular view of 250 white neck eagles feasting on spawning salmon.
Thanks to this site my visit to Victoria is unforgettable.
