Although Amsterdam dose not accept other currency's apart from Euro's and if your lucky people take credit cards... Although it may charge u a bit more (2-6%). Albert Cuyp market is one of the markets where every item is at its cheapest price although it gets a bit crowded at weekends. I must say Amsterdam has got many museums; it’s got ever 37 museums. I did take some time off and had a look at some of the museums. (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Museum Amstelkring etc...)
Anne Frank House (Anne Franchise) is one the famous attractions there. It’s about Anne Frank, her family and four other Jewish people hid from the occupying Germans during WWII. Nazis caught them and took her to concentration camps where she died but her father survived and publish her diary... although it is a bit tragic story but interesting one.
Amsterdam Canal rings are best for taking an evening walk. Well I prefer taking a boat and have a ride. The ride was pretty good taking look at the city from the water; I say it’s worth a shot.Margere Brug is an old draw bridge, which opens every 20mins. When night falls lights illuminate the bridge, then it becomes a very romantic place, popular with lovers. Trust me this is one place to be with Some one you love.
Shopping, Amsterdam is the city for antiques, books, diamonds etc... If any one is an antique pieces collector then this is the place to be there are Over 70 antique shops and art galleries in one single street. African Art, old clocks, pewter, instruments and furniture and many more just taking a look around u also might some thing to take back home. Well I took an old clock back home.
ArtisZoo is probably the oldest Zoo in entire Holland. It has four main areas: Zoo, Planetarium, Botanical Gardens and Geological and Zoological museum. In the zoo you will find animals which are rare and unique from all over the world. In addition, a unique canal aquarium shows you which animals roam the canals of Amsterdam.
